A pet peeve: Whenever fans of capitalism make claims like “Lenin’s chief legacy was a political plague that not only put entire nations under a full-time lockdown but killed as many as 100 million”, I wish they would tell us how many people they believe were killed by capitalism. If you don’t want to start your count with the African slave trade, you could begin with the ten million killed in King Leopold’s private enterprise, the Congo Free State. And be sure to include the thirteen million killed by the Nazis, who despite their oxymoronic name, were funded and supported by capitalists.
