Ah, Marnita.

1. I learned "identitarian" from Adolph Reed, a black writer who is probably our smartest living writer on class and race. You should broaden your reading.

2. Yes, we agree that identitarianism exists among all races. I oppose it in every case.

3. Should I not talk about black people when I talk about how capitalism works in the US? Do you think there isn't a black bourgeoisie, or that it does not accept the identitarianism that's generally popular with the bourgeoisie?

If I have ever misquoted anyone, please provide the correct quote.

4. I live in a world obsessed with identity. I can become a hermit or I can engage. I choose to engage.

5. I hate no one. I reject the ideologies that are loved by many. That is not the same thing.

6. Black people are more diverse than you imagine. Honest, they are not all bourgeois identitarians. Please read Adolph Reed.

7. Where have I ever claimed I don't see race? I understand how the capitalist racial system works.

8. I don't expect the black bourgeoisie to fight for workers of any color. I don't expect that of the white bourgeoisie either, of course.

9. What do you mean by "build relationships"? I meet a black friend every week for tea or tacos, and I discuss things with other black friends on Facebook.

10. You are right that few identitarians call themselves identitarians. They assume identitarianism is natural to everyone. The word is not a slur. It describes the ideology that opposes universalism.
