Ah, you're focusing on 2019 alone. I should've provided more perspective. In 2017, for example, 457 white people were killed by the police, and 223 black people were killed, a more precise two-to-one ration. When we're comparing millions of poor people with a few hundred people killed, you have to expect minor variation from year to year. I should update the post. Thank you for catching that.

How effective has BLM been? The police are still militarized and are still killing people at racial rates that are proportional to poverty.
