And yet a much better form of second-class citizenship than was available in many other places. And since the rich always live better lives than the poor, it was a form of second-class citizenship that let wealthy Jews live far more comfortable lives than poor and middle class Muslims.
It is sad that Israel continues what should be an outdated policy of imposing a form of second class citizenship on people who don't belong to the dominant ethnicity.
