Bell is commonly called the father of CRT because his racial realism was renamed by his student, Crenshaw. Crenshaw's always been a conventional Democrat--did she even support Bernie Sanders? I know nothing about Delgado or Stefanic, but based on your description, they seem to be utopians who think identity will somehow bring us to a better world.

So far as I can tell, intersectionality fits very well with the worldview of economic liberals. That's why people like Hillary Clinton are fans of it. But I completely agree that the greater classical liberal worldview (which includes Marxism) is at odds with identitarian liberalism.
