Culture is culture. Minnesota Lutherans are different than German Lutherans. People grow up in cultures shaped by many things, including the religious practices of their culture, even if they don't practice them.

I'm glad you're talking about "most Jews" now. It's possible the majority sides with you, though I'd like to see a poll before granting that.

If you're Ashkenazi, you are a descendant of Canaanites and Hebrews and Europeans. I am a descendant of many peoples, including Norwegians. I don't think that gives me the right to drive anyone out of Norway. :)
