Good point about the score. I confess I didn't pay attention to that, so I don't think I should offer an opinion now.

Fairbanks was D'Artagnan in two silents, the 1921 Three Musketeers and The Iron Mask in 1929. I should seek them out. I'm not aware of him in a 1930s version, but he would've been great.
