I marched for integration as a boy in '64 because my father was involved in the civil rights movement. We saw our successes as legal segregation ended. We had a strong sense of what worked.
For some reason, the tactics of the civil rights movement have been abandoned now. As a consequence, the wealth gap between the rich and the rest of us is greater than it has been in a century and the racial wealth gap has stagnated.
