I really don't understand why rich outsiders get to buy their way into the Brahmin caste, but I assume that's just part of the package that's being sold to them. What I'm curious about is who gets to assign a caste to your kids. Seems like if anyone can do that, it should be you or them. Or maybe there should be a lottery system to let luck decide.
