I wrote hastily, but by “ignorant whites”, I did not mean to imply working class whites only. I meant all whites who think their “white privilege” will protect them. It’s class privilege that primarily protects people when the law’s applied. The first major hint that had become true was when OJ Simpson was found innocent in the sort of case that results in quick convictions for poor people of all hues.
