If you considered class, you'd see that almost everyone killed by the police is poor, which is why the racial proportions of police killings and poverty are the same. That means poor white people and poor black people are about equally likely to be killed, and middle-class white and black people are about equally likely to be safe from the police. End poverty, and you would end most police killings.
