Lemann was saying that the black class hierarchy did not change when black people moved north: the black bourgeoisie stayed at the top and the black poor stayed poor. Then 9 million of the richer black people fled, leaving the poorer ones in the ghettos.

Do you agree that some black people have more money than other black people and this economic inequality creates a class system? King and Du Bois both wrote that.

Also, you should be aware that your antisemitism is really showing.
