Oh, it wasn't single-handed. Trump did better with people of color than any Republican in a long time. The problem with the two party system is people have to choose between more of what wasn't working or something else. Why the Dems didn't pay attention to the polls and go with Bernie, I'll never completely understand, though I do realize their rich donors preferred losing with Clinton to winning with Sanders.
