Perhaps I and the others who mentioned Douglass’s absence from the first release are mistaken. Can you point to an example in the original material?

I’d be especially pleased if you pointed to them doing more than acknowledging his existence. For example, did they quote him at any length? Do they mention that he described the Constitution as a “glorious liberty document” and called Lincoln “the colored man’s President”?
