Social prejudices are based on more than whiteness, and people interpret their problems using the tools they have. Note that the "white" people who are sometimes said not to be white (Poles, Irish, Italians, etc.) are invariably not Protestant. It's no different for people who are thought to be Muslim. The prejudice is based on assumptions about culture, not biology.

Do you have statistics on whether MENA are killed by the police at a rate that's disproportionate to their presence in poverty?

I care about what the self-appointed judges think because they are doing their best to divide the working class.
