The bit you quoted from the revised work illustrates a standard tactic of neoliberal “intersectionalists”: they mention something with little context in order to say they’re not ignoring it, and then they go on to ignore it. But if you can quote anything of substance about Douglass, please do.
I have no interest in historical narrative. I’m interested in historical facts. The New York Times has a long history of lying, which capitalists do to protect themselves. Socialists are obliged to always tell the truth so the working class will trust us.
