Nor am I interested in what you would probably call your classism. Some poor whites are virulently racist, but poor whites in general have always been among the least racist whites because they live, work, and form romances with black people. Rich whites and blacks despise them for that reason.
As to what’s to be done, I know of no one who has a direct solution to racism, but the most effective indirect solution is to end economic inequality. So long as we have a capitalist society, I favor King’s solution, Basic Income.
