The racial ratio of poverty and police killing is the same because the police primarily kill poor people. When poor white people and poor black people are treated equally badly, the problem is not racism.

To be clear, I’m not denying racism exists—there are situations where poor white people have a statistical advantage. But police killings isn’t one.
