As for stop and frisk, white people in those neighborhoods were stopped and frisked too. Mind you, I’m not defending stop-and-frisk. It’s a fascist approach to policing. I’m only pointing out that it targeted poor people, and in cities, poor people tend to be of color. Poor whites tend to be rural.
