This is the damning question for capitalists: “Who is forced to take the low status, dangerous or technical difficult jobs?” Capitalism requires a desperate working class to take those jobs. Under socialism, there would be no low status jobs and all jobs would be rewarded well—unpopular jobs that were necessary would probably be rewarded best. We would finally learn what jobs are truly worth.
As for trying a new business, people could use their own resources or convince people they know to chip in. It really wouldn’t be significantly different than how startups get started today.
