We all agre that we should talk honestly about race. That's my objection to race reductionists: they want to erase the role of profit so they can make generalizations about "white people" as though they are all the same instead of the rich, who invented and promoted race.

Note that the thing which would do the most to create equality and fairness, universal basic income, is not opposed by white people. It's opposed by the rich.
