Working class people who cannot find work are still working class. They're just the poorest of the working class.
When Crenshaw coined intersectionality, she was only writing about race and gender. You can see that in her paper's title: “Demarginalizing the Intersection of Race and Sex: A Black Feminist Critique of Antidiscrimination Doctrine, Feminist Theory and Antiracist Politics" Crenshaw is a bourgeois black woman who has never shown any particular interest in class that I've been able to find. Class was shoe-horned into her model much later.
