If Hamas kills five people for being gay and Israel kills one hundred people because it wants control of their land, the same number of gay people will have been killed. Since Israel has killed over 30,000 people recently, 70% of whom are women and children, and LGBTQ people are about 5% of a population, Israel has killed at least 1500 LGBTQ people in the last year.
