I use "race reductionists" partly because the worst identitarians are fond of using "class reductionist". I also use it because many people assume "racist" means someone with an evil intent, and many race reductionists are the nicest people you can imagine, but they're usually privileged liberals who reduce all issues to race or gender or some other form of identity while they claim they're being intersectional. I agree that effectively, race reductionists are racists, but I prefer to talk about race reductionists and identitarians because those terms seem more precise and less loaded, and I'm very tired of the standard identitarian canard that people of color can't be racist.
