Zionism Breaks Four of the Ten Commandments—and Leviticus/Vayikra 19:18 Too
“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house” was never in the Zionist Bible
The atheist father of Zionism, Theodor Herzl, knew that making a Jewish state would call for driving out most of the natives of the land they chose to colonize—he proposed starving them out by denying them work:
”We shall try to spirit the penniless population across the border by procuring employment for it in the transit countries, while denying it employment in our own country.” — Theodor Herzl
Herzl did not care that at the time, the vast majority of religious Jews believed a new Israel should not be built before the Messiah came and almost all ethnic Jews wanted to go to countries like the US rather than Palestine. And he did not in the least care that conquering Palestine would break four of the Ten Commandments:
Sixth Commandment (Exodus/Shemot 20:13): You shall not murder.
Eighth Commandment (Exodus/Shemot 20:13): You shall not steal.
Ninth Commandment (Exodus/Shemot 20:13): You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Tenth Commandment (Exodus/Shemot 20:14): You shall not covet your neighbor’s house, nor his wife, his man-servant, his maid-servant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.
These commandments are based on one that Jesus called the greatest:
Leviticus/Vayikra 19:18: You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against your countrymen. Love your fellow as yourself: I am the LORD.
One of the greatest Jewish religious thinkers, Hillel the Elder, summarized Judaism this way:
“That which is hateful to you, do not do unto your fellow. That is the whole Torah; the rest is the explanation; go and learn.”
Sadly, the history of Zionism shows that Palestinians understood “love your neighbor” better than Zionists did. When the Zionist colonization of Palestine began, Muslim landowners happily sold land to Jews and native Palestinians happily protected them—in 1878, for example, the first Jews at Rosh Pinna “moved into al-Ja’una, living among the Arabs for fear of being unable to cope with Bedouin raids on their own.”
But Palestinian kindness did not affect the Zionist resolve to ethnically cleanse the land.
“Palestine, thinly populated, in which the Jews constitute today 10 per cent of the population, must be evacuated for the Jews.” — Nachman Syrkin, founder of Labor Zionism, 1898
That “thinly populated” is an example of Zionists bearing false witness. Zionists lied that Palestine was a “land without a people for a people without a land” even though Palestine had more than half a million people in 1900, most of whom were Muslims and Christians. But justifying conquest always calls for lying about the people being conquered. Zionists claim they came in peace, even though every major violent clash in Palestine between 1882 and 1929 appears to have been started by Zionists. The first unambiguous example of Palestinians initiating violence against Jews did not happen until it was clear the Zionists were seriously trying to drive out most of Palestine’s Muslim and Christian natives.
After World War 2, Palestinians wanted a single multicultural state like the one they had known, where followers of the Abrahamic religions lived together in peace. Instead, the Zionist segregationists convinced the United Nations to accept two states in Palestine. Then, because fanatics are never content with compromise, the Zionists implemented Plan Dalet to fulfill their dream of a Jewish ethnostate in the land that the Bible, but not history or archeology, says was ruled by King David.
The conquest of Gaza shows the Zionists’ long game of conquest has not ended. That should not surprise anyone — Zionism is a cult whose believers cherrypick the Bible to rationalize their lust for their neighbors’ land. Like all conquerers who use religion as an excuse, they break their religion’s most important commandments without a second of thought. The Zionist god is not YHWH, but Greed, and Greed’s commandments include murder, theft, lying, and coveting your neighbors’ homes.
Sir Edwin Montagu, Secretary of State for India and the only Jewish member of the British Cabinet, has been proven correct. He wrote in 1917,
“Zionism has always seemed to me to be a mischievous political creed… I have always understood that those who indulged in this creed were largely animated by the restrictions upon and refusal of liberty to Jews in Russia. But at the very time when these Jews have been acknowledged as Jewish Russians and given all liberties, it seems to be inconceivable that zionism should be officially recognized by the British Government, and that Mr. Balfour should be authorized to say that Palestine was to be reconstituted as the ‘national home of the Jewish people’. I do not know what this involves, but I assume that it means that Mohammedans and Christians are to make way for the Jews, and that the Jews should be put in all positions of preference and should be peculiarly associated with Palestine in the same way that England is with the English or France with the French, that Turks and other Mohammedans in Palestine will be regarded as foreigners, just in the same way as Jews will hereafter be treated as foreigners in every country but Palestine … When the Jews are told that Palestine is their national home, every country will immediately desire to get rid of its Jewish citizens, and you will find a population in Palestine driving out its present inhabitants, taking all the best in the country …”
